Celebrating Pentecost Together
Pentecost in Bellingham On May 23rd, the 5 churches of Whatcom County will be Celebrating Pentecost together at 10am in the historic Mount Baker Theater of Bellingham. Each church will not worship at their particular space, but in celebration of our connectedness we will gather together. There will be joyful fellowship, congregational singing with a worship team and the Mighty Wurlitzer Organ, an offering for Habitat for Humanity, and the word proclaimed by our own Corey Schlosser-Hall. All are welcome.
Summer Youth Institute
Summer Youth Institute Rev. Ted Schuldt recently returned from visiting the Pittsburgh Theological Seminary. He shares his thoughts about the Summer Youth Institute, a program for future leaders. About 30 students from around the country are chosen to participate in this two week learning experience lead by PTS professors. Read more.
Embrace Shoreline Schools
Embracing ShorelineSchool districts have tight budgets. Churches in Shoreline and Lake Forest Park have formed a group whose goal is to serve the community. A work party from Lake Forest Park PC will be at Brookside Elementary School on Sat., May 15 working to improve the school grounds. Please join them!

Tall Timber's Golden Opportunity
Tall Timber Ranch The session of First PC Snohomish will be using the Pentecost Offering this year to support Tall Timber's Golden Opportunity fund and invites other churches in our Presbytery to do the same. Read more.
Silent Samaritan Campaign
Samaritan Counseling Center Samaritan Counseling Center of North Puget Sound is holding a fund raising luncheon for the Silent Samaritan Women's Fund on Sat., May 15, 2010, 11am at North Creek PC. Tickets are $15. For reservations, call 360.568.8737.
The luncheon will feature Ray Buckley, an author and illustrator of books for children of all ages.

Presby Collegiate Min AssocThe Presbyterian Association for Collegiate and Higher Education Ministries is holding the Summit '10 Conference on July 1-4, 2010 at Macalester College, St. Paul, MN.
 
The conference is for all those involved in collegiate ministry. Find out more and register.
