Bio
Pam is a relationship manager with PNC Institutional Asset Management®. She is responsible for coordinating the delivery of products and services to nonprofits, foundations, endowments, and corporations throughout the Triangle and Eastern North Carolina.
Pam has a deep experience working with CEOs, CFOs, HR Directors, Boards and Managing Directors in helping them with their organizations, including meeting their financial responsibilities and overseeing their investments. Her responsibilities include driving asset allocation decisions, fiduciary support, investment manager selection and overall investment strategy. Prior to joining PNC, Pam served over 23 years at Truist as a senior director within Institutional Services.
Pam graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration from Campbell University and with a Graduate Certificate in trust and wealth management from Northwestern University. Pam is a member of The National Charity League and has previously served as the VP of Philanthropy.
Samuel Michalove

Bio
Mr. Michalove is an investment market director for PNC Institutional Asset Management® (PNC IAM) responsible for overseeing the consistent execution of PNC IAM’s investment experience, portfolio activities and risk management across markets. He collaborates with investment advisors, market directors and PNC IAM senior leaders to provide a consistent high quality client experience with a special focus on PNC’s OCIO (Outsourced Chief Investment Officer) solutions. Mr. Michalove provides support and functional oversight to a team of investment advisors working within PNC IAM, assisting in the implementation of investment strategies for client relationships. In addition, He is responsible for maintaining and growing AUM and for providing portfolio and relationship management services to a select number of sophisticated clients with complex accounts.
Mr. Michalove has spent his career helping organizations and institutional investors design and implement multi-asset investment portfolios. His expertise is in areas of alternative assets, risk management, portfolio construction, investment policy design, and sustainable investing. Prior to joining PNC, Mr. Michalove served as the Director of Investment Strategy & Portfolio Management for Arizona State University Enterprise Partners’ $1.5B investment program. He was responsible for the development and implementation of investment strategy, portfolio construction, risk analytics, and alternative investment due diligence. Mr. Michalove started his career at Vanguard where he joined a leadership development program, ultimately landing a role as an analyst in Vanguard’s Institutional Investment group where he worked with non-profit, healthcare, corporate, and pension clients.
Mr. Michalove graduated with a Bachelor of Science in finance from Arizona State University. Mr. Michalove holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designations. Mr. Michalove is an investment committee member of the Jewish Community Foundation of Greater Phoenix and previously a board member of the Phoenix CFA Society.

Bio
Dr. John D. Denning has worked in a variety of roles at the intersection of education policy, philanthropy, and economic development. John currently serves as the Senior Advisor to the John M. Belk Endowment after almost ten years as a Senior Program Officer for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Committed to driving impact in transitions from high school to college and improved outcomes for students and teachers, John also served as North Carolina’s State Director for K-12 and Postsecondary Alignment and the NC Ready for Success initiative. In that capacity and through a joint appointment across the University of North Carolina, the NC Community College System and the NC Department of Public Instruction, John directed communication and policy alignment efforts across all sectors of K-12 and postsecondary education. After attending Elon University as a NC Teaching Fellow, John taught American history and government at Wake Forest Rolesville High School. Since earning an MA in Public Policy from Exeter University in England and a doctorate in Educational Leadership and Policy from UNC-Chapel Hill, John has worked in other organizations such as the National Commission on Teaching and America’s Future, All Kinds of Minds, the NC New Schools Project and the NC Teaching Fellows Commission. John also currently serves as a member of various boards and organizations such as the Elon University Jo Watts William School of Education Advisory Board, the National Advisory Board of the William and Ida Friday Institute for Educational Innovation, the Advisory Board of the Public School Forum of North Carolina, and the myFutureNC Advisory Board of Commissioners.

Bio
Nation Hahn is a senior advisor and consultant with extensive experience in change management, design thinking, strategic communications, public policy, and philanthropy.
As the former Chief of Growth at EducationNC (EdNC), he was instrumental in engaging North Carolinians on education issues from the organization's launch in 2015 through 2024.
At EdNC, Hahn pioneered innovative strategies combining theory of change, leadership development, and "go and see" opportunities for philanthropists and policymakers. His efforts built relationships with local leaders across all 100 North Carolina counties and raised over $18 million for EdNC's work. He drove postsecondary and community college coverage, including the award-winning Awake58 weekly newsletter. He also visited all 58 of the state's community colleges and all 100 of North Carolina's counties.
Since 2019, he has coached media organizations in change management through the Table Stakes program with the American Press Institute and CISLM at the UNC-Chapel Hill’s Journalism School.
Hahn was named to the Triangle Business Journal's 40 Under 40 list in 2017, received the Citizen of the Year award from IndyWeek in 2015, and was named a Southerner of the Year by Southern Living magazine in 2016. He is an Aspen Ideas Fest Fellow and has served on various boards focused on education, homelessness, and food security.
