The RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars 10 queens are H-O-T-T-O-G-O off to the races as pop star Chappell Roan and Wicked actresses Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo hit the Werk Room and Main Stage among a fabulous roster of guest judges.
Welcoming the show's largest-ever cast of queens (18 returning contestants in total!) is a star-studded crop of guest judges set to preside over the bracket-style competition, with the first All Stars 10 trailer revealing further panelists to be Ice Spice, Colman Domingo, Kate Beckinsale, Susanne Bartsch, Adam Shankman, Jamal Sims, Mayan Lopez, Devery Jacobs, and Sarah Michelle Gellar.
"Do any of you queers have something sexy I can slip into?" Roan — a queer recording artist whom has long praised the drag community for inspiring her — says in the clip (below) upon entering the Werk Room and posing for a photo with the cast.
Later, Wicked Oscar nominees Erivo and Grande clearly followed the Yellow Brick Road all the way to the Werk Room's Pink Sugar Walls, where they exclaim, "The witches will see you now!"
After teasing some jaw-dropping looks on the runway (including season 14's Bosco arriving in a coffin), the new trailer also teases some major drama ahead.
"Know who's back you're having and know who's back you're stabbing," season 9 and All Stars 3 alum Aja says. "Because, bitch I'm here to play."
In an exclusive roundtable interview with Entertainment Weekly, the All Stars 10 queens revealed their feelings on the new tournament-style competition, which will see three separate groups of six whittle down to three each, with those nine queens reuniting for a final round that shaves the cast down to two lip-syncing finalists.
"For a lot of girls, this was the first time they ever felt like they were [in the] top six, and it showed, and I loved it,” Aja joked, while Bosco thinks the competition is now a "more fair experience going intoAll Stars" that equalizes the girls, seeing as some are on their third (Aja,Jorgeous, Cynthia Lee Fontaine) and even fourth (Ginger Minj) season.
“I think being in a smaller group, there’s more chance to focus on everything.... you’re able to keep your eye on the girls a little bit more," season 13'sTina Burneradded of the dynamic. "I can watch every one of them and all the shady s--- they’re trying to do, and know who to not talk to and who to keep at a tender distance."
In addition to the aforementioned queens, the All Stars 10 cast is rounded out by Acid Betty, Alyssa Hunter, Cynthia Lee Fontaine, Daya Betty, DeJa Skye, Denali, Irene the Alien, Kerri Colby, Lydia B Kollins, Mistress Isabelle Brooks, Nicole Paige Brooks, Olivia Lux, and Phoenix.
